About the Role

As a **CNC Swiss Machinist** , you’ll set up and operate **Citizen Swiss CNC lathes** , maintain tight tolerances, and work on cutting-edge projects in a **climate-controlled environment** . Key Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate **Citizen Swiss CNC lathes** for production runs.
+ Load programs, set tool offsets, verify first-piece quality, and make adjustments.
+ Read and edit **G-code/M-code** ; optimize programs for efficiency.
+ Select and install tooling; perform tool changes and wear compensation.
+ Interpret blueprints and GD&T; perform inspections using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
+ Maintain accurate measurement records and apply **SPC methods** .
+ Diagnose and resolve machine/tooling issues; perform preventive maintenance.
What We’re Looking For
+ **Experience:** 2+ years operating Citizen Swiss CNC lathes.
+ Skilled in precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers).
+ Ability to hold tight tolerances (±0.0002").
+ Familiarity with multi-axis Citizen machines, live tooling, and sub-spindles.
+ Bonus: CAM software knowledge (Mastercam, Esprit) and experience in medical/aerospace manufacturing.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belle Plaine, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
