Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician** **Job Description
This role requires a high level of attention to detail as you will be one of the last individuals to touch the product before it is shipped. The position involves mechanical assembly, initiating and completing final mechanical assembly of products, cleaning and packaging products for shipment, and ensuring all accessory items are packaged with the product.
Responsibilities
+ Perform mechanical assembly and final assembly of products.
+ Clean and package products for shipment.
+ Ensure all accessory items such as manuals, software, hardware components, and cables are included with the product.
+ Assemble and package upgrade kits and service parts.
+ Verify shipments for accuracy.
+ Prepare domestic and international shipping documents.
+ Schedule pick-ups with freight companies.
+ Physically package all shipments.
Essential Skills
+ 1 – 2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis.
+ Computer fundamentals, data entry experience, and basic math skills.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with electrostatic sensitive procedure (ESD) is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is in a small/mid-sized company that manufactures audio testing equipment. You will be part of a team of 15 in production and shipping. The role operates on a shift from 8 am to 5 pm, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The company values teamwork and expects you to assist other team members as needed once your tasks are complete.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
