    Job Title: Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators for two immediate openings on the day shift,. This hands-on, fast-paced role is perfect for candidates with strong attention to detail and proven experience operating stand-up forklifts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate stand-up forklifts, including Reach Truck and Order Picker, as well as propane sit-down forklifts.

    + Unload and load freight from containers and trucks efficiently.

    + Perform quality checks and accurately measure each item.

    + Palletize, transfer, and verify product accuracy using RF scanners.

    + Lift and move items weighing 50–75 lbs regularly.

    + Participate in offloading during initial days to understand supply chain flow.

    + Flex between forklift operation and freight handling as needed, with a breakdown of 60% forklift operation and 40% manual handling for both inbound and outbound processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Stand-up forklift experience (Reach/Order Picker) with at least 6 months of experience.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal training.

    + Strong focus on quality and detail.

    + Willingness to submit to an STA/TSA screening prior to start.

    + Must pass a forklift test before the first day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Cross Dock experience in warehousing.

    + Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly, with occasional lifting of 120 lbs. between two people.

    + Attention to detail, particularly in reading numbers and labels.

    + Previous experience operating Crown Electric standup loader, cherry picker, or stand-up reach forklift.

    + Experience operating various styles of sit-down forklifts.

    Work Environment

     

    Located at the TSA Building in Kent, WA, this role operates within an expeditors warehouse. The facility features product stacked on racks with dock doors surrounding the exterior. Forklifts are in constant motion, maneuvering throughout the warehouse and in and out of containers. Teams consist of medium-sized groups (10+ employees), working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
