Job Title: 2nd Shift Laser Operator

$21-26/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Laser Operator who is eager to learn and operate laser machines. The role involves loading sheet metal into machines, inspecting the work, and learning machine setup processes. Candidates with the ability to set up machines will have the opportunity to learn programming aspects and advance their earning potential.

Responsibilities

+ Operate laser machines for sheet metal fabrication.

+ Load sheet metal into machines and ensure proper setup.

+ Inspect finished metal products for quality.

+ Learn and execute machine setup processes.

+ Opportunity to learn programming for advanced machine operations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation, particularly laser operation.

+ Familiarity with break press and punch press operations.

+ 6-months of machine operating experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with turret, press brake, and sheet metal fabrication is advantageous.

Work Environment

The facility features seven new break press machines and eight welding bays, creating a spacious and open workspace. Recent upgrades include new lighting and ceiling-high inventory shelves, ensuring a clean and organized shop environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Arlington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $54080.00/yr.
