Job Title: Hollow Cut Operator** **Job Description
The Hollow Cut Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining hollow cutting machinery to produce precision tubes and components that meet quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to production specifications, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
+ Configure and calibrate hollow cutting machines and related equipment.
+ Operate machinery to cut, shape, and finish hollow tubes according to specifications.
+ Select and measure raw materials accurately.
+ Use precision tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify tolerances and dimensions.
+ Inspect workpieces during and after processing for defects or deviations.
+ Document production data and maintain compliance with quality standards.
+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
+ Perform routine machine maintenance and report issues promptly.
+ Work closely with team members to meet production goals.
+ Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production and general labor.
+ Proficiency in machine operation and safety maintenance.
+ Ability to handle tools and equipment, such as hand tools and cutting tools.
+ Knowledge of machining and tooling, specifically with titanium.
+ Experience in inspecting products for quality assurance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Prior experience in machine operation or metal fabrication preferred.
+ Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Basic computer and math skills; ability to pass a math-oriented test.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.39 - $22.39/hr.
