Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to efficiently operate production and test equipment. The role involves monitoring and recommending improvements to production processes, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and maintaining accurate production and equipment operation records. You will be responsible for performing tests and measurements on parts, interfacing with quality assurance to ensure product quality, and assisting in the transportation and exchange of materials.

Responsibilities

+ Operate production and test equipment.

+ Monitor and recommend improvements to production processes.

+ Comply with company and area safety policies and practices.

+ Maintain accurate production and equipment operation records.

+ Perform tests and measurements to ensure product quality.

+ Interface with quality assurance to ensure product quality.

+ Assist in picking, transporting, and exchanging materials, supplies, and parts.

+ Inspect production equipment daily.

+ Support and foster active participation in corporate values.

+ Handle hazardous materials and samples safely.

+ Ensure the safe transport of hazardous materials and gas cylinders.

+ Operate basic hand and power tools.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with machine operation, including injection and production line operations.

+ Proficiency in quality control and troubleshooting.

+ General labor skills and experience in machine operating.

+ Familiarity with computers and touch screen devices.

+ Understanding of the metric system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Background in production or a combination of relevant skills.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and automated production facility. The environment for stamping/molding is more independent, while plating/assembly requires more team collaboration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.17 - $20.17/hr.
