Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for cutting sheets of film that are processed in the SMT Department. This role involves using a machine set up for you to insert one sheet at a time, press the go button, and stamp cuts into the plastic. After removal, you will inspect the sheets and continue with the next one. While the job is fast-paced, quality is prioritized over speed. Over time, you will learn to operate the laser cutting machine for more intricate and complex cuts.

Responsibilities

+ Cut sheets of film for processing.

+ Operate machine to stamp cuts into plastic.

+ Inspect sheets for quality assurance.

+ Learn and operate laser cutting machine for intricate cuts.

Essential Skills

+ 6 months of machine operating experience.

+ Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours.

+ Flexible attitude for cross-training and assisting in other plant areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in die cutting or stamping.

+ General labor experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
