Job Title: CNC Mill Operator

Shift: 1st: 6:00 am - 2:45 pm

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mill Operator to manually load parts into the HAAS VF2 Mill and ensure precise machining operations. This position does not require coding skills and utilizes the mill as a drill press with a digital readout.

Responsibilities

+ Manually load parts into the HAAS VF2 Mill.

+ Clamp necessary tooling into the vice.

+ Operate the mill using digital readout features.

+ Change tooling as required.

+ Debur and grind parts as necessary.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Experience with HAAS VF2 Mill operations.

+ Experience with CNC Lathes.

+ Familiarity with using calipers and micrometers.

+ Capability to operate machine shop equipment such as lathes and milling machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with CNC machines.

+ Ability to perform setup and operation of milling machines.

+ Knowledge of hand tools and their applications.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ronkonkoma, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
