Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This role involves 045 MIG production welding on mild steel in the flat position. You will work off of blueprints and use hand and power tools such as hammers and welders. Additionally, you will perform minor duties outside of welding, including grinding, blasting, and using a band saw. The position requires experience with Lincoln welders.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on mild steel in the flat position.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints.

+ Utilize hand and power tools, including hammers and welders.

+ Execute minor tasks outside of welding, such as grinding, blasting, and operating a band saw.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience.

+ Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.

+ Ability to read and work from blueprints.

+ Fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Welding degree from a technical school.

Work Environment

The facility is very clean and organized with high ceilings. Although there is no air conditioning in the summer, doors remain open, and Gatorade and ice cream are provided. The shop consists of 55-60 employees, three different weld groups, and 12 bays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Mills, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
