    Field Installer Technician

    Job Description

    + As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for visiting customer sites to install CO2 monitors due to new regulations. This role involves light low voltage work, similar to installing fire alarms. The installation process is straightforward, utilizing CAT 5 cabling. You will be working in commercial settings such as restaurants and gas stations, not residential areas. Candidates must have their own tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Install CO2 monitors at customer sites using CAT 5 cabling.

    + Ensure proper installation and functionality of the monitors.

    + Document all site visits and installations daily.

    + Communicate politely with customers and provide updates as needed.

    + Pick up necessary supplies from the shop before heading to sites.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand tools and wiring.

    + Ability to follow instructions and perform facilities maintenance.

    + Experience in installation, cable pulling, and mechanical or electrical tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Any low voltage or light electrical experience is beneficial.

    + Experience driving for work is helpful.

    + Must possess a smartphone for app usage.

    + Honest and independent with strong communication skills.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in various commercial sites such as new or existing restaurants and gas stations. The job requires independent work with minimal field management. Documenting your work is essential. Shifts typically run from 7 am to 3 pm, with flexibility to start as early as 6:30 am on some days. Must be available to work weekends if needed.

    This is a Contract position based out of Pensacola, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
