    Job Title: Welding Supervisor

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Welding Supervisor with a strong, hands-on experience in structural fabrication. This role requires a leader who guides by example on the floor and possesses extensive experience in the trade. The successful candidate will understand the full build process and adeptly guide a team through complex projects while ensuring the highest standards in quality, safety, and production. The welders will work on customized projects for esteemed clients, such as NASA and Boeing, fabricating and welding industrial work platforms, mezzanines, and ladder platforms.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG and TIG aluminum, steel, and stainless steel welding on customized platforms, mezzanines, ladders, stairs, and steps.

    + Conduct welding on materials ranging from 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch.

    + Fabricate parts according to blueprints and drawings for all custom orders.

    + Utilize equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; set up and measure assemblies.

    + Verify welding results by inspecting and testing welds.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG/TIG welding.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG/TIG welding on aluminum.

    + Proficiency in performing vertical and horizontal welds.

    + Ability to read blueprints and drawings for customized products.

    + Experience in examining welds for bead size and other specifications.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience in the field.

    + Hands-on experience in a fabrication setting with practical skills in MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-core welding.

    + Strong foundation in structural fabrication and deep understanding of metal behavior and distortion control.

    Work Environment

     

    This role requires the ability to work 50-60 hours per week in a non-climate controlled manufacturing/shop setting. The environment is focused on practical, hands-on work with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $83000.00 - $93600.00/yr.
