    Job Title: Wiring Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Wiring Technician to join our manufacturing team in building high-quality chillers for data centers. This position is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, diagrams, and engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical wiring, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and wire control panels by interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.

    + Perform point-to-point wiring and component installation, including circuit breakers, relays, power supplies, and PLCs.

    + Ensure proper function and compliance with safety standards by routing and securing wiring neatly.

    + Conduct quality checks and functional testing of panels before final installation.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues to ensure proper operation.

    + Contribute to risk assessments and health and safety investigations.

    + Assist Technical Support with site visits and customer end-of-line witness tests as required.

    + Engage in quality investigations and structured problem solving using tools and methodologies.

    + Participate in all aspects of testing requirements, including pressure test, evacuation and charging, refrigeration performance testing, electrical component testing, mechanical/electrical installations, and testing design TD at required water flows and pressure drops.

    + Build test rigs and assist with test plans.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in panel wiring, electrical assembly, or a related field.

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices for electrical work.

    + Knowledge of electrical codes, wiring standards, and safety procedures.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and efficiency.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a large plant environment that is non-temperature controlled. Employees are expected to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds (non-repetitive), and stoop as necessary.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
