    Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Maintenance Supervisor will provide direct supervision of the entire maintenance department crew. This position is responsible for coordinating the service and maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds, ensuring daily reductions in unscheduled downtime in production.

    Responsibilities

    + Supervise and assign work for maintenance employees.

    + Ensure work is completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and promptly.

    + Determine materials, equipment, and supplies to be used.

    + Transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary.

    + Ensure all safety, housekeeping, and environmental rules and guidelines are followed.

    + Document all pertinent data related to maintenance activities according to company and regulatory regulations.

    + Coordinate or install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems.

    + Coordinate renovations of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities.

    + Oversee and inspect outside contractors on any electrical, plumbing, and mechanical projects.

    + Drive improvements in maintenance performance indicators.

    + Actively participate in all departmental training and continuous improvement activities.

    + Adhere to all current SOPs, procedures, and quality requirements.

    + Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of progressive maintenance experience.

    + Thorough working knowledge of tools, procedures, and methods in an industrial maintenance environment.

    + Experience with metalworking and fabrication equipment.

    + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Hands-on, engaging on-floor activity, ability to develop employees.

    + Production and/or warehouse experience required, food manufacturing a plus.

    + Familiarity with safety and environmental codes, rules, and regulations.

    + Must be flexible with hours, possibility for OT.

    + Frequently required to lift and/or push up to 50lbs.

    + Possession of a current and valid driver’s license.

    + High School Degree required; Associate's Degree preferred.

    + Computer literacy.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to prioritize and learn quickly.

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Strong organizational skills.

    + Analytical and mechanically inclined.

    + Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

    + Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
