    Job Title: Welder

    Job Description

    We are seeking skilled welders experienced in MIG and/or TIG welding on aluminum and steel components for commercial vehicle upfitting. The ideal candidates will be able to follow design prints, meet quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG welding operations on steel and aluminum using MIG welding machines.

    + Grind excess weld material to achieve required finish quality.

    + Pass welding test to AWI standards for 3/8" plate and thinner materials.

    Essential Skills

    + 2 years of experience in MIG and/or TIG welding.

    + Experience welding on aluminum and steel.

    + Familiarity with measuring tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in both MIG and TIG welding is a plus.

    + Knowledge of fabrication, sheet metal, and flux core welding.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in an automotive manufacturing environment where space is currently limited, but an expansion is planned for improved organization. The work schedule is primarily on the 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Adrian, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
