Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description

Join our team as a Clamp Truck Operator at a large indoor/outdoor warehouse complex, where you will be handling large boxes and barrels of bulk tobacco.

Responsibilities

+ Operate clamp trucks to handle large boxes and barrels of bulk tobacco.

+ Stack containers of tobacco efficiently.

+ Wrap and strap containers of tobacco securely.

+ Load and unload tractor trailers with containers of tobacco.

+ Keep track of inventory, including locations and quantities of products.

+ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in warehouses using brooms, blowers, and 'sweeper' forklifts.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in material handling.

+ Experience with RF scanners.

+ Skill in operating forklifts, including clamp trucks, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.

+ Capability to load and unload trucks efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Coachable and eager to learn.

+ Punctual and reliable.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large warehouse complex consisting of 52 warehouses spread over 90 acres. This role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in a non-climate controlled environment. The shift is from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
