Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

Join a team dedicated to manufacturing high-end stainless steel kitchen appliances, such as stoves, microwaves, and fridges. Our maintenance technicians are versatile professionals skilled in both mechanical and electrical domains. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and performing preventive maintenance on various plant equipment, including lasers, presses, robots, automated conveyor lines, thermoforming machines, and foam forming machines.

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on plant equipment.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance on fab equipment, robots, and automated conveyor lines.

+ Engage in minor welding and fabrication tasks.

+ Participate in special projects as needed.

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v, including PLC systems, primarily the person and some Siemens.

+ Provide your own basic tools; more expensive tools will be supplied by the company.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 5 years experience as an industrial maintenance technician.

+ Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical repair.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2-year technical degree.

Work Environment

Work in a 600,000 sq. ft. facility, known for being one of the cleanest and well-kept in Southern Wisconsin. The facility is automated and climate-controlled, maintaining a comfortable 72 degrees. The second shift runs Monday through Friday from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with opportunities to work additional hours if desired. The maintenance team is expanding, aiming for 9 technicians on both the second and third shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.

Direct Hire

Very large, clean, automated and climate controlled facility - always 72 degrees!

Will pay for schooling

Really strong benefits and insurance - also the option to joint he Union at 90 days if you want

They offer different levels of pay bumps - they will send you back to school and there are 11 courses you can take. High end of Maintenance pay is $37/hr before the premium
