    Job Title: Fabrication Laborer

    Job Description

    As a Fabrication Laborer, you will be part of the fabrication/finishing department, contributing to the creation of fiberglass structures. This entry-level position involves packing, crating, drilling holes, applying handles, sealing ends of products, and making angle cuts using chop saws. You will utilize nail guns, chop saws, drills, and other hand tools. Mechanical inclination is essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack and crate fiberglass products.

    + Drill holes and apply handles to products.

    + Seal ends of fiberglass products.

    + Make angle cuts using chop saws.

    + Use nail guns, drills, and other hand tools efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Must pass a tape measure test.

    + 3 months of experience in production, construction, or manufacturing.

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, tape measures, hammers, power drills, and nail guns.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical inclination is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is within a fiberglass facility where steel toe boots are required. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable attire. The environment can sometimes be itchy with a strong odor, but it is generally clean. The schedule consists of four 12-hour days followed by four days off, ensuring the plant operates seven days a week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alum Bank, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
