    Job Title: Inventory Specialist** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring inventory control and accuracy, and maintaining records and reports related to merchandise or materials.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor and maintain material, inventory, and records.

    + Perform activities to control inventory of merchandise or materials.

    + Evaluate inventory levels and notify purchasing clerk for necessary reorders.

    + Maintain inventory records and prepare comprehensive reports.

    + Conduct daily cycle counts as well as monthly inventory counts.

    + Ensure proper inventory level and accuracy on the shop floor.

    + Refill carts daily for the following day's work.

    + Organize all parts and finished goods on shelves and bins timely.

    + Receive inventory daily from shipping and receiving and update bin labels with precise counts.

    + Manage stock rotation and lot separation for all inventory items.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.

    + Proficiency in using inventory scanners.

    + Experience in picking orders and working with inventory.

    + Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    + 1+ years of prior experience in a warehouse/shipping and receiving environment or related field.

    + Equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the job's essential functions.

    The position is based inside a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The role requires standing for the majority of the day.

    This is a Contract position based out of Black Creek, GA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
