Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description
Responsible for ensuring quality control of all products in the facility, this role involves checking for errors such as stitching, labeling, and printing in incoming shipments. The position requires collaboration with the QC team to ensure products meet quality specifications. Quality control of both incoming and outbound shipments is essential, along with the use of paperwork logs to ensure products are tagged and properly assembled. This role demands a high attention to detail to notice issues or mistakes, and the ability to read and write English according to SOP guidelines. Candidates must be willing to cross-train in other departments and work with pickers/packers if needed.
Responsibilities
+ Ensure quality control of all products in the facility.
+ Check for errors in stitching, labeling, and printing in incoming shipments.
+ Collaborate with the QC team to ensure products meet quality specifications.
+ Manage quality control of incoming and outbound shipments.
+ Use paperwork logs to ensure products are tagged and properly assembled.
+ Maintain accurate pick counts and sheets.
+ Demonstrate high attention to detail to identify issues or mistakes.
+ Read and write English according to SOP guidelines.
+ Willingness to cross-train and assist in other departments.
Essential Skills
+ Quality control experience
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to use RF scanner
+ Experience with warehouse packing and inventory
+ Experience in general labor and GMP
+ Proficient in quality assurance and inspection
+ Document control experience
+ Ability to conduct visual inspections
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1 Year of Quality experience is ideal
+ Experience in the food production realm is considered
+ Preference for candidates with a strong personality

Work Environment
The role is set in an open warehouse environment where standing is required for the entire shift. The position involves lifting 30-50lbs throughout the day.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mankato, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
