Job Title: Welder

Job Description

You will be working in a custom metal fabrication to complete a variety of projects on a daily basis. Due to the custom fabrication shop environment, projects include components for commercial construction, custom platforms, machinery stands, components for heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, attachments, and much more. You will be working from blueprints to complete projects primarily using MIG and FCAW processes on structural steel materials. Steel thickness varies from 1/4" to several inches. On occasion, TIG projects could enter the shop as well (no experience required with TIG welding). There is also an opportunity to obtain structural MIG and FCAW welding certifications through the company.

Hours

+ 6:00AM to 4:00PM ; Monday – Thursday + OT on Friday

Pay

+ $23.00 to $31.00+/hr based on experience

Essential Skills

+ 1-2+ years of welding MIG or FCAW welding experience preferred

+ 1 year of welding experience or technical welding degree required

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $30.50/hr.
