Job Title: Traveling Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with over 8 years of experience in operating full-size excavators and equipment around underground utilities. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be able to communicate effectively with other on-site workers. This position requires flexibility in travel across various locations, including Knoxville, KY, VA, IL, NC, GA, and more.

Responsibilities

+ Operate full-size excavators and heavy equipment efficiently.

+ Manage equipment operation around underground utilities.

+ Collaborate and communicate effectively with other on-site workers.

+ Travel to various job sites across Knoxville and surrounding states as required.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience with full-size excavators.

+ Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including dozers, backhoes, and track hoes.

+ Experience in civil construction, excavation, trenching, fine grading, and earthworks.

+ Ability to work around underground utilities safely.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
