Job Title: Brake Press Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to handle the operation of an 18-foot brake press machine, focusing on bending and forming metals. The role involves some setup of machinery based on work orders and operating machines efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Operate an 18-foot brake press machine for bending and forming metals.

+ Set up machines according to work orders and specifications.

+ Utilize measuring devices to ensure precision in metal fabrication.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and WPS specifications for accurate execution.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 6 months of experience in machine operating or fabricating in a factory setting.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and WPS specifications.

+ Familiarity with press brake operation, machine operating, and usage of measuring devices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with micrometers and dial calipers is strongly preferred.

+ Ability to operate various machinery such as punch press and fabrication equipment.

+ Understanding of blueprints for effective machine operation.

This is a Contract position based out of Lake Crystal, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
