    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

    Job Description

    As a Shipping and Receiving Professional, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment to customers by building pallets and loading trucks efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare products for shipment and build pallets.

    + Load trucks with prepared shipments.

    + Possess and utilize basic computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.

    + Understand and adhere to the Shipping and Receiving Standards binder.

    + Proficiently measure and read tape measures.

    + Safely operate chop saws and nail guns.

    + Build crates, skids, and crating enclosures with minimal assistance.

    + Check in received items, place them on job carts, and identify errors in incoming orders with minimal help.

    + Direct any questions to Shipping and Receiving II or Shipping and Receiving Lead for guidance.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Word.

    + Strong understanding of Shipping and Receiving Standards.

    + Proficiency in various measurements and ability to read a tape measure.

    + Safe operation of chop saws and nail guns.

    + Ability to build crates, skids, and crating enclosures.

    + Capability to check in items received and identify errors.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 2 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving.

    + 6 months of experience building pallets.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a climate-controlled environment alongside technicians, with tasks including loading and unloading trucks both inside and outside. Standard hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, currently operating from noon to 11 PM with overtime opportunities.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
