    Job Title: Facilities Technician 2

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician 2 for a high-tech facility located West of Milwaukee.

    Responsibilities

    + Work in a critical environment, adhering to strict processes and procedures.

    + Follow and apply Methods of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).

    + Respond to and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

    + Assist the Operations Manager with building inspections, procuring bids, managing staff, operations, and projects.

    + Perform building walk-throughs to check temperature irregularities and complete rounds and readings.

    + Monitor utility usage and handle building energy management and preventive maintenance.

    + Maintain mechanical equipment, including HVAC units, pumps, motors, VFDs, and boilers.

    + Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v and perform minor plumbing repairs.

    + Maintain records of maintenance performed and issues encountered.

    + Comply with safety regulations, including the use of protective gear.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.

    + 1+ year of HVAC maintenance.

    + 1+ year of plumbing experience.

    + 1+ year of basic electrical, painting, and carpentry skills.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technical diploma is a plus.

    + Excellent customer and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to learn and apply new processes and procedures quickly.

    Work Environment

     

    This role requires working in both interior and exterior environments, utilizing ladders and handling equipment up to 30 feet in height. The dress code includes steel-toed boots. Shifts vary, with potential overtime and on-call responsibilities, and candidates must have reliable transportation.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartland, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
