Job Title: Brazer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brazer to join our team in working with large-scale dehumidifiers. The successful candidate will be responsible for brazing according to job specifications, prints, and instructions. Additionally, you will perform the main weldment for base frames, heat exchangers weldment, and stainless steel drum assembly.

Responsibilities

+ Brazing dehumidifiers following job specifications and instructions.

+ Performing main weldment for base frames, heat exchangers weldment, and stainless steel drum assembly.

+ Handling materials ranging from 20 gauge to 1/2 inch, including stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and both hot and cold rolled galvanized steel.

+ Utilizing tools such as plasma cutter, band saw, drills, gas torch, MIG welder, TIG welder, spot welder, die, air tools including grinders, tube wedger, and impact wrench.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in brazing and blueprint reading.

+ Experience with hand tools, general production, and tape measure usage.

+ Mechanical aptitude and skills with power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ At least 1+ years of Brazing experience.

+ Welding experience is acceptable if combined with brazing.

+ Completion of shop courses or equivalent experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working with various materials such as stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and galvanized steel. You will use a range of equipment, including plasma cutters, band saws, drills, gas torches, and different welding tools. The dress code is appropriate for safety standards in a production setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.75 - $21.75/hr.
