Job Title: CNC Maintenance Technician** **Job Description
A large manufacturer of pipes, valves, and flanges (PVF) is seeking a dedicated CNC Maintenance Technician. This role combines both mechanical and electrical maintenance responsibilities to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs and preventative maintenance using expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and HVAC systems.
+ Conduct small HVAC maintenance for CNC coolant systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair various machinery including lathes, mills, and conveyor systems.
+ Interpret and work with blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
+ Engage in welding and utilize PLC troubleshooting and control.
+ Conduct maintenance on three-phase systems and work with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Essential Skills
+ 10 years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Extensive experience in CNC maintenance.
+ Strong electrical maintenance skills.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Extensive experience with PLC/ladder logic.
+ Experience with conveyor systems, extruders, and press machines.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large and older manufacturing shop that has been recently renovated. It includes a shipping area, receiving area, and a large machining shop equipped with overhead and jib cranes. The shop is open-air and non-climate controlled, but large fans are used to circulate air. The team is diverse, with communication in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The day shift consists of approximately 40 machinists and 10 to 15 forklift drivers, while the night shift is expanding. Steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirts, and safety glasses are required. The 1st shift runs from 7:00am to 4:00pm, and the 2nd shift is from 4:00pm to 1:00am, with some weekend work depending on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
