    Job Title:** **Facilities Technician

    **Location:** Carlisle, PA

    **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm + weekend on call

    **Pay:** $20–$27/hour (based on experience)

     

    About the Role

     

    This position involves a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across multiple trades, ensuring safe and well-maintained housing for residents.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.

    + Service and repair appliances such as ranges and refrigerators.

    + Prepare vacant units for occupancy: patch and paint walls, replace fixtures, and complete flooring work.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and minor upgrades as needed.

    + Handle seasonal tasks such as snow removal and groundskeeping.

    + Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency repairs.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.

    + Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience (3+ years strongly preferred).

    + Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repair.

    + Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlisle, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
