Job Title: Brake Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Brake Operator who will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Experience with laser cutting machines is an advantage, particularly in operating 4 fiber lasers, including two 6000-watt machines. While machine operation experience is highly valued, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal components as per specifications.

+ Work with laser cutting machines, specifically 4 fiber lasers, including two 6000-watt machines.

+ Ensure precise measurements and quality control using tools such as calipers and tape measures.

+ Conduct machine setup and operation, ensuring the efficient and safe performance of equipment.

+ Participate in sheet metal fabrication and assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with press brake and punch press machines.

+ Proficient in machine setup and operation.

+ Ability to work with calipers and tape measures for accurate measurements.

+ Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with laser machining is a plus.

+ Familiarity with assembly processes.

+ Willingness to learn and develop new skills in laser operation.

Work Environment

Work in an environment that is not climate-controlled, which may be warmer during summer months. Expect to be on your feet the entire day, making it an ideal setting for those who are hard-working and dedicated. The work schedule is from Friday to Sunday, from 6am to 6:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chatfield, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
