Hiring Maintenance Service Technician for 1st shift at growing, stable company. Direct hire role offering excellent benefits and competitive pay. Must have ability to work both on the road and in shop.

**Job Description:** The Service Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and forklifts. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing various equipment electronics, as well as performing routine maintenance on all aerial platform systems. The technician will inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintenance of engines, motors, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment electronics.

+ Perform routine maintenance on aerial platform systems.

+ Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.

+ Properly use diagnostic tools to determine the extent of necessary repairs.

+ Prepare orders for required services and source parts as needed.

+ Repair or replace components of diesel engines, hydraulic, air conditioning, electrical, and suspension systems.

+ Read and interpret technical information from schematics, manuals, drawings, and regulations.

+ Perform welding, brazing, and fabrication as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Knowledge of aerial equipment.

+ Experience in gas/LP fuel, diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

+ Ability to troubleshoot electronics.

+ Ability to work at heights up to 120 feet.

+ Working knowledge of email and smartphone technology.

+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a combination of on-the-road job site repairs and shop work. The facility is not temperature controlled, and the hours are generally from 5:30 to 1:30, with potential flexibility and on-call duties.

The pay range for this position is $78000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
