Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join a dynamic team in a long-term and rewarding role. You will be responsible for following work instructions and assembly steps to create high-quality products. This role involves using basic hand tools, performing visual inspections, and ensuring all components are properly documented and scanned before and after assembly. You will work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless production process.
Responsibilities
+ Read and follow work instructions to assemble products.
+ Use basic hand tools for assembly tasks.
+ Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards.
+ Pass assembled components to the next team member or place them on the rack for further inspection.
+ Utilize computers to document and scan materials during the assembly process.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1+ year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Minimum of 6+ months of experience using common hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
+ Basic computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical experience, such as changing car oil or tires, or home renovations.
+ Experience with soldering tools and repairing electronics like computers or phones.
+ Experience in circuit board assembly.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $18.50/hr.
