Job Title: Chemical Operator** **Job Description

As a dedicated Chemical Operator, you will play a critical role in the processing of recycled materials and waste management within a safe environment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, blending, chemical treatment, sampling, recording data, and packaging of recycled products.

Responsibilities

+ Receive and process recycled materials.

+ Blend and perform chemical treatments.

+ Sample and record data accurately.

+ Package recycled products efficiently.

+ Operate and maintain necessary equipment.

Essential Skills

+ 1-year of chemical batch making/blending experience.

+ 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ 2-years operating a sit-down forklift.

+ Basic knowledge in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics (D365).

+ Ability to read and write work orders, training documents, and work instructions.

+ Ability to operate electronic equipment such as scales, meters, scanners, or radios.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Pass forklift driving exam (pre-offer).

+ Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleagues.

+ Effective communication skills and time management.

+ Experience with warehouse management software is a plus.

+ Ability to carry hoses, climb ladders, and perform general housekeeping tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a challenging, dirty environment dealing with oil every day. First shift hours are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
