Fabrication Technician
Job Description
As a Fabrication Technician, you will effectively communicate orally and in writing, engage in teamwork, and provide organizational support. Your role will involve planning and organizing tasks efficiently while ensuring quality and quantity in your work. You will adhere to safety and security procedures and maintain punctual attendance.
Responsibilities
+ Operate CNC machines and use measurement tools accurately.
+ Assemble components and document requirements as needed.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
+ Use hand tools and engage in soldering, fabrication, and production tasks.
+ Ensure tasks are completed on time, meeting productivity standards.
+ Follow safety and security procedures and determine actions beyond guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using CNC machines and measurement tools.
+ Ability to read and interpret operation manuals, work instructions, and design documents.
+ Strong mathematical skills, including basic algebra and geometry.
+ Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in fabrication, assembly, and production tasks.
+ Ability to use and read a variety of measurement devices accurately.
+ Strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Work Environment
The work is performed in a cleanroom environment, requiring special clothing provided by the company, such as cleanroom coveralls, hair bouffant, hood, booties, and shoe covers. Employees can wear jeans and closed-toe shoes. You will start as part of a team of 12 people, with some tasks requiring repetitive motions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
