Job Title: Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machinist to join our precision metal fabrication company, which serves industries such as Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and Architectural. Our machinists produce parts for various high-profile clients and projects, including those that support US Military and National Defense Contracts. Candidates will be responsible for setting up and running jobs efficiently and maintaining quality standards using a variety of machinery, including Mazak and Swiss machines.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and run production jobs, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.

+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Work off of blueprints to create precise parts.

+ Interpret data from Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and manual measurements, making necessary adjustments to machining processes.

+ Edit programs directly at the machine.

+ Handle multiple set-ups and edit programs for 5-axis machines.

+ Lift up to 25 pounds, utilizing lifts for heavier loads.

Work Environment

Our shop operates on a flexible schedule with shifts including: 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm), 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am), and Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday, 2:00pm-2:30am). Optional overtime is available, with opportunities to work 5-10 extra hours based on shift and order volume. The shop maintains a climate-controlled environment, requiring steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. With a workforce of 100 people, our facility ensures a safe and productive space for all employees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Machining Supervisor is a great person to work for!

Growing rapidly and sales are through the roof: 50M in sales and working towards 80M\

Bonus structure below. If it's under $500, it gets paid at 60 days. Anything over gets paid at 6 months and a year.
