• Electrical Journeyman

    Aerotek (Pineville, NC)


    Aerotek is hiring for Electrical Journeyman's

     

    Phase 1 of project, will have to be comfortable doing underground work - this will be the majority of the work at first

    Will work 6 days a week

    10 hour shifts

     

    Weekly Pay

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to local and national electrical codes

    + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

    + Inspect electrical components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs

    + Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

    + Install and maintain control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components

    + Test electrical systems using meters, testing devices, and diagnostic tools

    + Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and apprentices to complete projects on schedule

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA and NEC safety standards at all times

    + Train and mentor apprentices as needed

    + Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific)

    + 3–5 years of electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings

    + Strong knowledge of NEC codes and electrical safety practices

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints

    + Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment

    + Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

    + Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions

    + Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

    + OSHA 10

    Work Environment

    + Construction sites, industrial facilities, or commercial buildings.

    + Will require overtime, right now we are operating 6 days a week, 60+ hours.

    + Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, standing for long periods, and working with tools and machinery

    This is a Contract position based out of Pineville, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.97 - $45.97/hr.
