Job Title: Shipping Technician

Job Description

As a Shipping Technician, you will be responsible for picking and packing supplement products, handling up to 300 packages per day. You will be stationed at a dedicated position where you will be required to stand throughout your shift, lifting and pushing items up to 50lbs. Accuracy in fulfilling orders is crucial, and you will also manage a computer station for order confirmation and label creation. This role is in an FDA-approved clean room environment within a small team, making attendance and precision key priorities.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack supplement and vitamin orders in a warehouse setting.

+ Manage a computer station to confirm orders and create shipping labels.

+ Lift and push packages weighing up to 50lbs.

+ Empty two small carts per hour and maintain productivity until tasks are completed.

+ Maintain high accuracy to ensure orders and labels are correct.

+ Utilize ERP software and systems for shipping management.

+ Communicate via email using Microsoft Outlook.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience in picking or packing.

+ Proficiency in basic computer skills and email communication.

+ Ability to lift and push up to 50lbs.

+ High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.

+ Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Basic math skills.

+ Problem-solving abilities.

+ Experience with FedEx and USPS shipping processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced and highly regulated warehouse due to the handling of pharmaceutical products. Shipping Technicians will operate solely within the warehouse, adhering to SOPs and cGMPs. The facility provides a clean room atmosphere approved by the FDA.

This is a Contract position based out of Benicia, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
