Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description
The Builder is responsible for accurately positioning and installing electronic components inside an organ console to complete a working unit following work orders, sales orders, and instructions.
Responsibilities
+ Install various electronic components inside the organ console following instructions.
+ Put parts in the proper sequence accurately while following and reading the sales order, along with the instructions.
+ Use basic hand tools such as an automatic screwdriver, pliers, hammer, soldering iron, crimping tools, and air stapler for the installation process.
+ Verify part numbers from the work order with the Tech Data sheet to ensure you have the correct part numbers.
+ Record serial numbers on the Tech Data sheet.
+ Pick up assembly parts and transport them by cart over to the workstation.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to measure and read measurements from a ruler or tape measure.
+ Attention to detail and the ability to follow written or verbal instructions, as well as sales orders and work orders.
+ Ability to work in a team environment but also independently on assigned tasks.
+ Ability to work with hand tools.
+ Good visual acuity to place parts in the proper location.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Prior experience using a ruler and tape measure is preferred.
+ Previous experience using hand tools (screwdriver, hammer, air driver, staple gun, measuring tools) is preferred.
+ Ability to read sales and work orders.
+ Ability to perform assembly work from a sitting or standing position with consoles placed on twenty-two (22) inch platforms.
+ Reading with arms and bending is required for this position.
+ Ability to lift 25lbs.

Work Environment
Join a clean manufacturing environment with a family-owned atmosphere, operating on a first shift only, Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macungie, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
