    Job Title: Lead Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Technician III** **Job Description

     

    The Lead Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Technician III is responsible for overseeing advanced maintenance operations, coordinating facility upkeep, and ensuring optimal performance of industrial equipment across the site. This role serves as a technical expert, mentor, and hands-on leader who drives reliability, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead daily maintenance operations by assigning tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring timely completion of work orders.

    + Perform advanced troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

    + Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and extend asset life.

    + Support facility infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, building systems, and grounds.

    + Train and mentor junior technicians in technical skills, safety practices, and standard operating procedures.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve equipment issues and implement process improvements.

    + Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance logs, equipment histories, and compliance records.

    + Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

    + Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs, supplies, and contracted services.

    + Participate in capital projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and facility expansions.

    Essential Skills

    + 4-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or heavy industrial environments.

    + Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, conveyors, and robotics.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

    + Proficiency with CMMS systems for work orders, asset tracking, and maintenance planning.

    + Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide teams and collaborate cross-functionally.

    + Strong understanding of OSHA and facility safety standards.

    + Ability to lift, climb, and work in industrial environments as required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with SAP system.

    + Familiarity with HVAC systems.

    + Supervision and maintenance management skills.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a fulfillment location in Arlington with a work schedule from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. The role involves working in an industrial environment, requiring familiarity with technologies like CMMS and SAP.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
