Job Title: Quality Auditor 2nd or 3rd Shift

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Auditor, where you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality on our assembly lines. Training will take place during the first two weeks on the first shift. Following training, you will work on either the second shift from 1 PM to 9 PM or the third shift from 9 PM to 5 AM.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect products on assembly lines using established criteria.

+ Record data and report findings upon completion of inspection.

+ Follow all written and verbal directions provided by quality lead, supervisor, and production leadership.

+ Prepare defective samples to be reviewed with quality engineers.

+ Participate in line startup set-up.

+ Separate and label defective products according to established processes and procedures.

+ Provide immediate feedback to quality controllers and assembly operators/leads.

+ Escalate repeated defects to Quality Controllers and Cell Leads for investigation and resolution.

+ Fill out basic data collection sheets for all inspected lots.

+ Enter data into the database after kit completion.

+ Maintain first article samples and limit samples physically organized in assigned location.

+ Work safely and maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

+ Report safety hazards and work-related injuries to supervision immediately.

+ Work effectively and collaboratively with others.

+ Perform various positions in the production area.

+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment. Expect to work overtime with short notice and stand for 8+ hours per day in a highly repetitive short-cycle assembly process. The dress code is casual, with close-toed shoes required, and eyewear is provided for the entire shift. Employee discounts are offered after 90 days, and there is potential for advancement into lead/controller positions based on performance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $24.75/hr.
