Job Description
We are seeking skilled welders to join our team. This role involves welding, grinding, and fabricating metal parts as part of a dynamic and supportive team. The position offers the opportunity for growth and development, especially for those new to the field.
Responsibilities
+ Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
+ Grind parts to clean up weld metal for a polished finish.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Measure Auger Flyte using calipers and micrometers.
+ Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
+ Assist with preparing bays alongside helpers.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in MIG welding.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
+ Possession of a welding certificate from a High School or Technical School.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in fabrication and familiarity with TIG welding is advantageous.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a well-equipped weld shop with up to 20 welders. Training lasts 1-2 weeks, initially on the first shift with a manager, after which employees work independently with occasional check-ins. The dress code includes jeans without holes, boots, and a T-shirt, with additional warm attire in winter due to open doors. Employees must have their own weld helmet. Shift options include 1st shift (6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm – 1:00 am, Monday to Thursday).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
