Job Title: Shipping Associate** **Job Description
This position involves working in the shipping and receiving department, preparing parts for shipping, operating a forklift to move parts, and coordinating documentation with the clerk. The role requires comfort with manual labor as forklift operation accounts for approximately 25% of the workload. Additional tasks may include assisting in production, although this does not involve operating production machines.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare parts for shipping in the shipping and receiving department.
+ Operate a sit-down forklift to move parts as needed.
+ Coordinate with the clerk to ensure accurate documentation.
+ Assist with general labor tasks.
+ Support production activities without operating production machinery.
Essential Skills
+ Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift.
+ Experience in shipping and receiving.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Capability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bridge crane operating experience is ideal but not required.
+ Reliable with the ability to take verbal instructions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
