    Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk** **Job Description

     

    Join a leading electronics manufacturing company specializing in military and defense applications. Be part of a team that crafts circuit boards for cutting-edge technologies used in night vision goggles for the US Army and safety equipment for coal miners.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow Quality Management Procedures in the Engineering Lab.

    + Deliver specified materials or kits to the manufacturing floor.

    + Inspect all material kits received from customers on a consigned basis before they are issued to the manufacturing floor.

    + Bake boards and BGAs requiring BGA placement/rework prior to issuing them to the manufacturing floor.

    + Oversee and assign duties to other Inventory Control Personnel as needed.

    + Perform other duties as identified by Supervisor/Management.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and requirements.

    + Work independently with little or no supervision.

    + Maintain effective working relationships with others.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    + Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    + Good attention to detail and basic math skills.

    + Understanding of inventory functions.

    + Produce computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + ESD Training.

    + Trained to AS9100 Program requirements.

    + Training in MAS200.

    + Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory control.

    + Minimum of 5 years Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a related field.

    + Must be able to work a 4/10 schedule, Monday – Thursday.

    Work Environment

    The role requires the ability to lift and carry a maximum of 35 pounds over short distances. Work is conducted in a secure facility, adhering to strict quality control and safety standards. The position follows a 4/10 schedule from Monday to Thursday, providing a long weekend every week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, AL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
