    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a skilled **Avionics Electrical Technician** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems on aircraft. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform installation, inspection, testing, and repair of avionics and electrical systems.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using schematics, manuals, and test equipment.

    + Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

    + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex technical issues.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.

    Qualifications

    + Associate’s degree or technical certification in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

    + Minimum 2–3 years of experience in aircraft electrical/avionics maintenance.

    + Strong knowledge of aircraft wiring, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Familiarity with FAA regulations and safety standards.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with modern avionics systems (GPS, communication, navigation).

    + Knowledge of digital and analog circuitry.

    + FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or equivalent certification.

    This is a Permanent position based out of HONOLULU, HI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
