Job Title: Mechanic** **Job Description
We are seeking skilled mechanics to join our team in building concrete pumping equipment. As a mechanic, you will read and interpret blueprints to assemble components for concrete pump trucks or trailers, and engage in various mechanical assembly duties on prototype units. You will use hand and power tools to build each unit.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics to assemble components.
+ Use the Build Book program on computers to access work instructions and parts for assembly.
+ Lay out truck details per engineering prints on a job-by-job basis.
+ Perform final assembly of all units, including installing hoods, electric components, lights, and stickers to customer specifications.
+ Install hydraulic lines and fill them with oil in preparation for required testing.
+ Prepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, installing, and reassembling units.
+ Test assembled parts or products to ensure they function properly and meet quality standards.
+ Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and procedures.
+ Maintain tools and workspace in good condition.
+ Perform similar or related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with hydraulics, brake lines, chassis work, and blueprint reading.
+ Previous experience with heavy mechanical equipment is preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Capability to learn and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Possession of personal tools.

+ Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, modern manufacturing environment at the White Bear Lake location. Operate in multiple bays with access to computers for parts ordering and blueprints. The facility includes large booms and a louder work environment. Enjoy a first shift schedule from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, working alongside 35-40 other mechanics. Navigate between eight buildings, including a weld shop, paint shop, and warehouse, with an outdoor yard connecting them.

This is a Permanent position based out of White Bear Lake, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
