    Job Title: Carpenter Laborer** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter Laborer, where you will have the opportunity to work in various areas such as framing, flooring, cabinetry, drywall, and final finishing. This role offers a fast-paced, indoor construction environment with potential for growth.

    Responsibilities

    + In the Framing department, cut and assemble 2x4s using air nail guns to build walls, often utilizing jigs to ensure precision.

    + In the Floor Department, frame floors with 2x joists, nail subfloors in place, and insulate flooring.

    + In the Drywall department, cut and fit drywall around fixtures, read tape measures accurately, and finish with tape and paste.

    + In the Cabinet Shop, assemble and install cabinets, cut and install countertops, and finish cabinetry.

    + In Final Finishing, complete units by installing blinds, drapes, appliances, and cleaning carpets.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous construction experience, whether personal projects or vocational training.

    + Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

    + Experience with hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior construction and carpentry experience is preferred.

    + Candidates should have a solid work history and interview well.

    + No certifications are required.

    Work Environment

    Work in a prefab manufacturing setting where the team builds structures from the ground up, including floors, walls, and interiors. The role is physically demanding, involving lifting heavy items up to 50 pounds and performing tasks such as cutting, drilling, and sawing. The company offers a supportive work culture with positive feedback from contractors.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leola, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
