• Cardiac Care Technician

    Crouse Hospital (Syracuse, NY)


    This position will be working primarily with the electrophysiology staff to assist with patient prep, room turn over, supply pulling, patient transport and many other duties.

     

    The Cardiac Care Technician analyzes and monitors patients’ heart rates and blood pressure during cardiovascular testing and informs department leadership of any abnormal changes. In addition, the Cardiac Care Technician ensures all equipment is operational and ready for use.

     

    Job requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a cardiac monitoring technician certificate program or possess recent on-the-job arrhythmia training. Must have BLS certification at the time of hire or within 6 weeks after hire.
