Radiology Aide

A Brief Overview

The Radiology Aide assists daily with maintaining the appropriate level of department flow.

What you will do

+ Performs the input of OP physician orders into Diagnostic Imaging’s ITS module.

+ Prints films and CDs needed by patients to further their medical care.

+ Answers and routes phone calls.

+ Assists transporting patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging Department as needed.

+ Performs accurate documentation of patient medical records.

Education Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Qualifications

+ Previous medical experience preferred. Moderate computer skills necessary.

Skills and Abilities

+ Computer, reading, writing, organizational, and communication skills

+ General safety skill.

+ Previous direct patient care skills Preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

+ Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required
