    Summary of the Role:

    PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Contract Administrator (Contracts, Principal Specialist)** to partner with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing complex contracts and proposals that drive innovation and compliance in one of the most dynamic sectors in the world. Your expertise will ensure seamless negotiations and execution, impacting projects that shape the future of aerospace technology.

    Location & Details:

    + **Job Type:** Full-time; Consultant (12 Months)

    + **Location:** Rockford, IL 61125

    + **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, First Shift (8 AM – 5 PM)

    + **Pay Rate:** $38.49 per hour

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    + Draft, interpret, and manage large, multifaceted proposals and contracts to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer schedules.

    + Review and negotiate contracts within agreed parameters, including government procurement and cost control guidelines.

    + Oversee compliance with contractual obligations and advise on legal issues related to contracts.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to support negotiations and execute agreements promptly.

    + Prepare reports and legal documentation for internal review and approval.

    + Participate in meetings to communicate contractual requirements across business units.

    + Manage customer interfaces and resolve issues impacting contract administration.

    + Prepare recurring contract status/progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

    + Lead small projects, including CORE initiatives.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience OR

    + Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience OR

    + In absence of a degree, 9+ years of relevant experience

    + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience in contract management or related field

    + Aerospace industry experience

    + Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations

    + Government contracting experience, including proposal writing and negotiations

    + SAP and Excel proficiency

    + MBA, Legal, or related advanced degree preferred

    + Experience with customer-facing negotiations and various agreement types (NDAs, MOAs, licenses, etc.)
