    SUMMARY: The Director of Grants provides an educational and financial perspective in the development, monitoring, and evaluation of grant proposals and special projects.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Other duties may be assigned.

     

    1. Monitors, supports and evaluates progress of grants' instructional activities and revises plans through grant amendments.

    2. Creates a personalized and motivating learning environment for students by incorporating grant projects.

    3. Creates and implements plans to achieve grant goals, i.e. budgets, ongoing professional development, ordering materials.

    4. Writes comprehensive and coherent grant goals to meet state standards and Board of Education policies.

    5. Supervises project implementation in collaboration with stakeholders through classroom visitations, observations and conferences with grant staff.

    6. Collaboratively develops and implements a shared vision and mission through a shared decision making process while adhering to Federal and State grant guidelines.

    7. Nurtures and sustains a culture of collaboration, trust, learning, and high expectations by providing professional development opportunities as a part of all grants.

    8. Promotes the use of the most effective and appropriate technologies to support teaching and learning through the implementation of grant programs.

    9. Monitors and evaluates the management and operational systems as related to grant management, auditing requirements and business office protocol.

    10. Ensures the completion of State, Federal and Foundation forms and reports.

    11. Promotes understanding, appreciation, and use of the community's diverse cultural, social, and intellectual resources and develops community partnerships.

    12. Maintains visibility and accessibility on the school campus.

    13. Builds and sustains positive relationships with all stake holders.

    14. Collects and analyzes data information pertinent to the educational environment and grant reporting.

    15. Nurtures and sustains a culture of collaboration, trust and high expectations through modeling principles of self-awareness through ethical behavior.

    16. Provides supervision of students both in and outside of the classroom in accordance with building and district expectations.

    17. Reports to school on time.

    18. Maintains confidentiality.

    19. Adheres to and enforces CCSD Code of Conduct.

    20. Participates, when appropriate, in continuous professional growth and development related to the field of teaching and/or specific area(s) of expertise.

    21. Attends required meetings and follows building rules, procedures and district policies.

    22. Maintains positive, cooperative and mutually supportive relationships with students, staff, caregivers, colleagues, district personnel and community.

    23. Uses excellent written and oral English skills when communicating with students, staff, caregivers and community.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: As assigned.
