Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a **Configuration and Database Management Senior (MIDB)** to join our team and provide support to facilitate operations on a critical infrastructure and services program. This effort focuses on providing a comprehensive set of System/ Software Engineering and IT Services to maintain, sustain, enhance, and improve/modernize. The ideal candidate will be located in the National Capital Region.

Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by Q3/Q4 of 2026.

The **Configuration and Database Management Senior (MIDB)** responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The Senior Configuration and Database Management Specialist within the Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) framework is responsible for overseeing the configuration management and database administration processes to ensure the integrity, consistency, and reliability of MIDB systems. Manages configuration changes, maintaining configuration management databases (CMDB), and optimizing database systems for performance, security, and scalability. Develops configuration management plans, conducting audits, performing database administration tasks, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. This specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement configuration changes, resolve database issues, provide training and support, and continuously improve best practices in configuration and database management.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelors degree and 9 years or in lieu of degree 4 more years of relevant work experience or Masters degree and 7 years or in lieu of degree 4 more years of relevant work experience.

One of the following certifications: Certified Network Defender, SecurityX/ CASP , CCSP, Cloud , CSSLP, GDSA, GSEC, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GICSP.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
