Position Summary

The Safety Ambassador is responsible for helping to improve daily safety awareness within the entire facility.

Essential Duties and Tasks

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

+ Promote safety awareness throughout the entire facility on a daily basis

+ Assist supervisors and managers with risk assessments

+ Assist with all accident related paperwork

+ Administer first aid when needed

+ Conduct monthly safety audits and observations for each department

+ Deliver a daily safety topic

+ Will be an active participant of the Safety Committee

+ Will assist the EHS Manager with assigned duties as needed
